OVERVIEW


Founded in 1972, Calista Corporation is the second largest of the 13 regional corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971. It is a business corporation formed under state and federal laws, including the settlement act and its amendments.

In the traditional Yup'ik language of our Region, the name "Calista" is derived from "Cali" which means work and "ista" which means someone or something which does.

We work hard to help our customers achieve their missions and goals, and we base our methods and strategies on the highest ethical standards.
