Calista Corporation Announces Subsidiary Management Changes
Two Calista Corporation subsidiaries announce changes. Alaska Telecom, Inc. welcomes Daniel Boone as President/CEO and Monica James has been selected to serve as President of both Yulista Holding LLC and Yulista Management Services, Inc. Both presidents are expected to increase and diversify revenues for their respective companies.
Ms. James replaces John Voth, who is retiring, as president of YMS on July 8. James joined the Calista family as Senior Vice President of Business Strategy for Yulista Holding in February 2011. A Calista Shareholder originally from Alakanuk and Bethel, she previously served as Alaska Aerospace Corporation’s Vice President of Business Operations and Administration since May 2009. From July 2004 to April 2009, James was Chief Financial Officer for Alaska Aerospace. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from University of Alaska. James currently serves on the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Alaska.
Mr. Boone is currently serving as president/CEO of ATI. He previously led the marketing and business accounts for ICG Communications, Inc. in Colorado. He has also served as the chief criminal investigator and manager for the Department of Revenue, responsible for all criminal investigations in the Tax, Permanent Fund Dividend and Child Support divisions. Boone earned a bachelors degree in business administration/accounting from the University of Phoenix and a theological diploma from Charismatic Bible College.

These changes follow an already aggressive year in which Calista allocated more than $3.6 million in Shareholder dividends in April and established a new subsidiary, Calista Real Estate, in early June 2011.
Yulista Holding and ATI are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Calista Corporation. YMS is a Yulista Holding company.
