Calista Corporation Focuses On Western United States Real Estate
New Subsidiary Will Target Residential Properties

(Anchorage, Alaska) – Calista Corporation has formed a new subsidiary, Calista Real Estate, LLC, the corporation announced today. The new president is Gregory E. Strong, PhD.

The subsidiary was formed to procure multiple, or bulk, residential properties throughout the western United States, that are in distress or foreclosure.

Dr. Strong has nearly 35 years of real estate development experience and previously owned his own real estate development company. He completed dozens of bulk purchases during Alaska’s last economic downtown, and developed subdivisions including the Woodfield Estates, Woodfield Park Estates and Bridle Path Estates developments in Wasilla, Alaska. Most recently, he has served as the president of the Strong Family Trust. He earned a doctorate degree in Administrative Leadership and Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin.

“We are excited to be launching this new venture for Calista as we continue moving toward our goals in growing the company in both revenues and profitability,” said Calista Corporation Vice President of Business Development Margaret Nelson. “We look forward to Greg’s leadership and his practical business experience in this new endeavor.”

Calista has actively expanded its revenue base beyond government contracting. In 2010 the company acquired two key Alaska businesses. Brice Incorporated, acquired in July, has a solid 40‐plus year history in Alaska with its civil and arctic construction, commercial gravel, and international marine operations. With a nearly 70‐year Alaskan legacy, Yukon Equipment, Inc. was acquired in August and provides heavy equipment sales, service, parts and rental.

Calista Real Estate’s offices are located at the corporate headquarters at 301 Calista Court, Suite A, in Anchorage. Dr. Strong can be reached at (907) 279‐5516.
