Tunista, Inc. Promotes Craig von Holdt to GM/Director of Operations
Tunista, Inc. names Craig von Holdt as the General Manager/Director of Operations. Von Holdt previously served as Project Manager for the Furnishings Management Office and Moving/Relocation Services contracts on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
“Von Holdt’s experience brings us both keen insight and an encompassing outlook,” said Tunista, Inc. Vice President Carl Fouch. “As our company grows, Von Holdt will provide the necessary guidance to both our customers and his team.”
Von Holdt is a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, during which he held various management-level positions in aircraft maintenance and quality assurance. Civilian occupations include experience in property management, budget analyst, and serving as a quality control manager. Von Holdt earned a bachelors degree in professional aeronautics, along with minors in business administration and also safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Tunista, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Calista Corporation, started as a property management and real estate sales company. The business expanded into SBA 8(a) government contracting, operations and maintenance and construction. In November 2008 Tunista, Inc. graduated from the 8(a) program, but is still considered a Small Disadvantaged Business and an Alaskan Native Corporation. The company focuses on facilities management as well as sole sourcing government contracts.
