Internship Program
The Calista Corporation Internship program provides work experience for Calista Corporation scholarship recipients. Work experience adds meaning to classroom instructions and allows internship participants to explore career options. Interns receive valuable on-the-job training in one of many specialized fields.
An intern is a college student who may work a minimum of 20 hours per week under the supervision of a manager of Calista Corporation or subsidiary. Assignments are made within a variety of departments and shall not exceed 40 hours per week during the summer months.
Shareholders and descendents are eligible to participate if you are a Calista Scholarship recipient, currently enrolled in a degree program and attending classes on a full-time basis, have a grade point average of at least 2.0, and are in good academic standing.
Calista will cover the cost of your room and board, as well as a competitive internship wage while you gain valuable experience.
Interns will also receive routine feedback about their performance and will receive a midterm and final performance evaluation. If an interns performance falls below a satisfactory level, you may be separated from the program.
If you are selected to participate, you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test. Upon passing the drug test, you will attend Calista’s New Hire Orientation to familiarize you with the program layout and your job description.

How do I apply?
An application packet MUST be fully completed and received in our office by April 1, 2007. To be considered, the following must be included:
- Summer Internship Program Application
- Shareholder Talent Bank Application
- A copy of your current resume
- Two letters of recommendation
- Responses to three easy questions
