Five Cash Prizes to be Awarded in Random Drawing
February 5, 2026
(Anchorage, Alaska) – Calista Corporation today launched the 2026 Calista Shares Contest to encourage Calista Shareholders to complete either a Calista Stock Will Form or a Life Estate Beneficiary Form. Five Shareholders will be randomly selected to win $500 each.
Calista Shareholders in the United States at least 18 years old who complete one or both of the forms by March 6, 2026, 5 p.m. Alaska Time, will receive an entry. Shareholders with either valid form on file prior to the Contest will be automatically entered.
How to enter:
- A Shareholder with Class A or B shares must have submitted a valid Calista Stock Will. A valid Stock Will is fully completed, signed, dated, witnessed and notarized.
- A Shareholder with Class C or D shares must have submitted a valid Calista Designation of Beneficiary for Unpaid Distributions of Deceased Life Estate Shareholder (“Life Estate Beneficiary”) form. A valid Life Estate Beneficiary form is fully completed, signed, dated and witnessed.
“A valid Stock Will or Life Estate Beneficiary form specifies who will inherit your shares or distributions after you pass away,” said Thom Aparuk Leonard, Calista Corp. Vice president of Corporate Affairs. “Having these forms completed can help your family focus on celebrating your life and avoid complications during a difficult time.”
“Without a valid form on file, State of Alaska laws will determine who will inherit shares or receive any held distributions,” Leonard said. “This process can take years to resolve.”
