Calista Mails CARES Act Financial Assistance Information to Shareholders

Online Application Period Set to Begin Early October

(Anchorage, Alaska) – Calista Corporation is contacting all of its 34,500 Shareholders by mail with further information on the upcoming online application period for CARES Act financial assistance. The letter is estimated to mail out today.

The letter notifies all Shareholders the application period will run from early October to November 15, 2021. All Calista Shareholders—regardless of age—who experienced financial harm due to the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply. The financial harm must have occurred between March 2020 and December 2021.

The letter also notifies Shareholders they will need to provide their enrollment number, full name and date of birth when they apply online, and provides each Shareholder with his/her enrollment number. Shareholders can also log into MyCalista.com to view their individual enrollment number.

Eligible Shareholders who apply by the Nov. 15 deadline will receive a payment of $325 per Shareholder on December 8. Applications may be filed on behalf of a minor/dependent.

The application form will be online-only for quicker processing and reduced costs. It uses less than 2MB of data per application, and it is designed to be completed quickly and easily on smartphones, tablets or computers.

A limited number of paper applications will be made available for Shareholders with no internet access, such as Elders or incarcerated individuals. Calista encourages Shareholders who have internet access to assist those who do not.
